Information on the Local Tax Reduction System for Overseas Financial Corporations

In November, new system allows overseas financial corporations expanding into Osaka City to pay no corporate inhabitant tax and no corporate enterprise tax.

It is applied for up to 10 years, and “Osaka Prefecture and Osaka City are the only local governments” to offer local government-specific reductions limited to overseas financial corporations engaged in asset management and FinTech businesses for the first time in Japan.
